The rocks tied to her feet feel heavy

But she doesn't mind

Since soon it won't feel like anything at all

The cold wind touches her face and she tries to feel it one last time

Closing her eyes she feels the warm sunshine on her skin as well

It is a beautiful day

When she looks down she sees the sea

It is so blue, so powerful

The biggest cemetery on earth

The most beautiful place to die

There is something beautiful about how the sea can swallow us whole

As if we are nothing

Because we are, truly

She takes a deep breath

The world seems to slow down as she takes steps forward

The sound of the crashing waves are calming yet terrifying

She takes one last look at the sky and jumps

Water fills her lungs as she tries to fight one last time

But the rocks pull her further down

Soon shes at the bottom

It is done

She closes her eyes and sleeps

No dreams

Just water

Water inside and outside and all around her

Just the beautiful, terrifying sea
